Ramón A. Soto — Attorney Licensed in New Mexico and Texas
Providing legal assistance to the communities that need it most.
Attorney Ramón A. Soto is the son of Mexican immigrants who sacrificed a lot to provide a better future for their children. Ramón noticed that there weren't many Latino and Spanish-speaking lawyers in the United States, even though the Latino community is one of the largest in this country. With this motivation, he attended law school and practices law to represent under-served communities.
Targeting Complex Cases & Getting Results
It takes a lawyer with a solid legal background to take on the most challenging claims.
Ramón uses his experience as a civil rights lawyer at the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF) to help connect with clients. He was also a federal law clerk for Chief Judge William P. Johnson where he learned about the internal workings of federal litigation. And this in-depth familiarity with state and federal law helps him win cases and get the best outcomes possible.
He Gets Up Every Day With a Passion for the Law
Working relentlessly in every case for every client.
Ramón has a passion for working with the law. His colleagues and the needs of his clients motivate him every day. The legal arena provides him with a great incentive to achieve success on his clients' behalf. Every case is different, and his clients present a welcome challenge. With each client getting his full attention, Ramón becomes fully knowledgeable of the facts and how his clients' lives are impacted. This lets him prepare the strongest possible case.
Expect Honest & Frank Representation
Your case is important, and you deserve nothing less. Clients come to us with real issues and problems. Ramón prides himself on telling his clients when he believes their case has strengths and when it has weaknesses. This prepares them and ensures everyone is working towards the same goal. Ramón’s clients should expect that he will work relentlessly on their case and pursue the best possible outcome.
Engaged with His Community
In his free time, Ramón enjoys weightlifting, hiking, and playing with his dog. He also attends music events, and he DJs throughout the Southwestern United States.
